And here is the reason I love this Porcelain Rose collection from kaisercraft – the range of different papers and colours! the ones used on this card are from the 6″ paper pad, as is the border which I used in the middle of the card, and the label too! All this card needed to finish was the bird from the collectables pack of the same range and a white ribbon stuck across the centre.I had a lovely morning teaching my class this morning, and while I was at Paper Flourish I picked up some new alphabet dies in three different sizes – all set now to add my own custom greetings on my cards! There’s that bird again – isn’t he gorgeous? The paper is a piece of the 12 x 12 paper from Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose, and the tag is from the matching collectables pack. I stamped the sentiment with a stampin up stamp and added a blue flower ( kaisercraft) and kindyglitz to finish. I have had a very productive day in the craft room today, just sitting and experimenting with some stamps, and mucking about with different colour combinations – very satisfying. My holidays have flown by and I can’t believe it’s back to work next Tuesday for me! For now though, I must go and pack my class bag as I’m teaching tomorrow – so looking forward to seeing my ladies! This is another village lesson card – the ladies gave me the embossing folder which they had purchased and asked for some ideas on how to use it.I embossed a piece of cream cardstock and then inked the raised areas with a green ink pad and sponge. The flowers were punched using a cosmos martha stewart punch and I added some bling and a ribbon bow, and mounted everything onto stampin up daffodil Delight cardstock. The butterfly was punched with a stampin up punch.I have been busy in the card room making some more class lessons, and preparing for my class later in the week, but when I go back in there later I will be creating with some new papers – can’t wait!

This photo is a little dark – in real life the background isn’t quite so dark, the paper is from Kaisercrafts Great Southern Land collection and I used the matching collectables as well. This was a release in the second half of last year, but it should still ba available. I used it for a class last september, and we all thought it would be good for xmas cards to send overseas.this one though I have made into a birthday card stamping a stampin up sentiment stamp straight onto the paper.I will be found in the craft room tonight as I have a few orders to make including quite a few wedding cards! Til tomorrow….

I made this card to prove to myself that I could do a one layer card! Although I have to admit I am still fighting the urge to add some ribbon and bling… I stamped a variety of butterfly stamps – (I have a lot so it could have been any brand) and stamped them in different coloured inks – these were – Stampin Up Certainly Celery, bashful blue,so saffron, and Pink Piroutte, and then fussy cut around the outside edge. The sentiment stamp ( from stampin Up) was stamped in black to stand out.Interesting exercise, but I won’t be packing away my bling any time soon! Til tomorrow…..

Today is Kaisercraft Botanical Odyssey number 2. Just the 6″paper pad, and matching collectables, and a little seam binding for this one – I do love this paper, and in a minute when I return to the craft room where I have been working on May Lessons, I am going to get it back out and make some more cards with this one! I haven’t played nearly enough with it yet! Great to see the rain this afternoon, a great day for crafting. Til tomorrow….

A bit more paper from the Tea for two designer paper range from Stampin Up. This time I cut out some of the hexagonal paper, and layered it onto each other to make this hexagonal flower, and added an inked doily, a bit more paper wrapped in twine, and stamped a sentiment from the Vintage verses stamp set with soft suede ink. The embossed background was achieved with my stampin up honeycomb embossing folder onto very vanilla cardstock, and the card base is stampin Up Bashful Blue.I have finished making the sewing box I was doing, and am eager to get back to my cardmaking, but once again it is incredibly hot here, so it may be a cool night under the air conditioner watching t.v!
