This is an early post today – I missed yesterdays as we had problems with our internet – it’s amazing how that brings most of the household to a grinding halt ! Todays card uses Kaisercraft Secret Admirer 6″ pad and matching collectables- this collection was a little different – kaisercraft brought out 2 different collectables packs, one of which was mainly die cut doilies, and its this pack that I used here. I tucked one behind a panel from a piece of 12 x 12 paper, and used the other as abase for my group of martha stewart punched frond leaves, flowers and ribbon, and slid a Prima hat pin behind. Hi all, sorry I missed yesterday, but life got away from me and I ran out of time! Hopefully things settle a bit after Christmas! So today we are still using the same 12 x 12 sheet of paper from Kaisercraft Secret Admirer collection and the matching collectables, and here I have stamped my greeting on the centre of one, and arranged a few to the left of the card. Added some flowers ( kaisercraft) a punched butterfly, pearls and some gorgeously bright pink ribbon.I taught a small class today – too close to christmas for a lot of people – bought some beautiful do- crafts art deco die cuts and paper, and have spent a lovely afternoon creating – just what I needed! Todays card is all cuttlebug. The cuttlebug folder used is folder that cuts and embosses at the same time, and I used a Stampin Up designer frames folder for the embossed oval behind, and an oval punch for the greeting. The cardstock is stampin up whisper white and pink pirouette, martha stewart butterfly punch, and flowers and ribbon to finish! Have received some orders today, so the next couple of days will be spent doing them – lucky they aren’t xmas as all that is packed away1 Til tomorrow….

This card was made a little differently to the way I normally create – I usually have my collection as the base, then gather cardstock, ribbons, flowers etc that I think will go well with it and start from there. with this one I had only bought 2 sheets of the collection – ( Kaisercraft Tigerlily) unusual for me but it offended my eye with the strong orange mixed with pink ( just a personal thing – I don’t normally like orange and pink together) so I didn’t have too much paper to play with but… there were lots of odds and ends on my table from other projects, and so that is what I used on this card and the next couple that I will show you over the next couple of days. The white embossed oval which I inked around the edges was given to me by one of my ladies when she was showing me her new cuttlebug die purchase, so I can’t tell you the name of it, and then I just added a few flowers and a dainty pink bow to finish. The gorgeous butterfly was fussy cut from a sheet full of butterflies from Kaisercraft Tigerlily. I have been very good and stuck to making my Fathers day cards, still a few to go, but I am seriously missing my ribbon, flowers and bling so tonight I am going to treat myself and make the blingiest card I can think of!Til tomorrow….

A very late post today, but today has just escaped from me and Nathan and I have just finished photoing my cards, which we usually do on a Sunday morning. This means the light was not good and to avoid putting up Nathans photo tent (which is impossible to fold back up) I was in the dark under the dining table which he assured me was the best place to take said photos. We will see when he has put them on the computer. Anyway on to todays card. No pretty papers today! Bazzil cardstock which i ran through the cuttlebug with my swiss dots embossing folder, and spellbinders dress forms die ( cut from a bit of a cereal packet and painted with crackle paint) The pretty lace is actually a curtain remnat, and the flowers were cut with my cricut and the flower shoppe cartridge. All that was needed then was a bit of ribbon, a paper flower and some liquid pearls. That’s it for today, but will see you all tomorrow. We are nearly at the end of this sketch series – one more to go after this . Toadys card uses my spellbinders nested lacey pennants, some stampin Up ribbon and sentiment, and of course the paper is Everyday enchantment by Stampin Up. The second card which closely mirrors the first uses American crafts Neapolitan paper, stampin Up daffodil delight trim, ribbon and flowers instead of the lace bow and the cardstock is Stampin Up calypso coral. My back is still sore, so nothing but a seat in front of the t.v. with a hot water bottle for me tonight!Til tomorrow….

I farewelled this paper some time ago, but Nathan and Ididn’t take any photos this weekend, and I was going back through my files to see what hadn’t been posted yet, and I found this group of cards, which is – I promise – the last of kaisercraft English rose paper ( mainly because I haven’t got any of that paper left) and a collection of ribbon and flowers, and some sizzix tattered florals made with my cuttlebug.I am looking forward to spending a few hours in the craft room tonight, I really haven’t had time for a nice long card making session all week, and have quite a few ideas I want to try out.
