_MG_9857 (Medium)_MG_9858 (Medium)Here we are at the final two Cards i have made with Kaisercraft letters to Santa collection, and what fun i have had with this paper! Both of these cards use the 12 x 12 papers in the collection for the background pieces, and the long stickers on the sticker sheet for the smaller z fold piece. There is a pine cone on the top card which I foiled with chocolate foil and my go press and foil machine, Nuvo drops were also used on both cards for the red berries. a bit of ribbon and bows and these were quick and easy! _MG_9852 (Medium)_MG_9853 (Medium)And we are back to Kaisercraft letters to santa, and the last few cards in this series are z-fold cards. The top card has papers from the 6″ pad decorating the panels, a Christmas Tree collectable ( painted a little with Kindyglitz), and a greeting from the sticker sheet. the second card  also has papers from the 6″ pad decorating the panels, and the smaller z-fold strip has a long sticker from the sticker sheet across it. The greeting is from the 6″ pad. This weekend I must sort out the cruise cards, working out what is left to prepare for them and I am going to get out the go press and foil machine and try some other techniques with it for a forthcoming class at paper Flourish. I want to see what other materials we can foil with it so should be a good experiment! til tomorrow…..

A Christmas village..

_MG_9839 (Medium) We are going to take a small pause in the Kaisercraft letters to Santa series today so that I can show you a card I made with Stampin Up Hometown Greetings Die set and a piece of patterned paper from their Christmas Around the the World designer series paper pack. I die cut the houses from  gold and white glitter cardstock, and baqcked the houses with some shiny pieces of an acetate type piece.. I have no idea what it was, Mum handed it to me over the table, unsure of where she had got it, but it worked a treat as windows. Next time I do these, I will use some plain acetate as I have no more of the scrap mum gave me, and I will try colouring the clear acetate with Copic markers to see if I can get the same light shining through technique. The trees and star are Kaisercraft wooden pieces, foiled with my Go Press and Foil machine. Our clocks jumped forward an hour for daylight saving, and I have spent all morning chasing my tail, wondering where the day is going…Time is truly flying! Til tomorrow…..

_MG_4600 (Medium)_MG_4601 (Medium)two Double Z fold cards today made with Kaisercraft christmas Jewel, papers and collectables.I am doing a lot of this design this year because these will be the ones I send out to family and friends. Todays top card uses papers from the 6″ pad, a punched reindeer, a strip  from the sticker sheet and a Kaisercraft wooden flourish foiled with the go press and foil machine. The lower card also uses papers from the 6″ pad, sticker sheet and a couple of the collectables from the matching pack. I ahve been to work and am home again so i think i will spend a little time this afternoon in the craft room, playing with the new kaiser range I picked up the other day, still christmas, but traditional colours this time! til tomorrow…

img_3523-mediumimg_3524-mediumHere are the other two cards I made with Graphic 45 St. Nicholas paper collection. I had to pack that paper away to work on some orders, and I haven’t got back to it yet.On the top card I did something a little different – I used border stickers to frame the main image, while the bottom card has a little bit of fussy cutting. I think we will take a bit of a break from all things christmas next time and have a look at a few other cards I have been making!Til tomorrow…..

img_3520-mediumimg_3522-mediumI managed to find a little time to make some Christmas cards with the new Graphic 45 St Nicholas range. Graphic 45 still remains a favourite paper company of mine because I can fussy cut so much of it.So lots of fussy cutting on the top card, and a little on the bottom card along with some ribbon and cardstock from stampin up.A rainy day here, different from our 30 c weather we had yesterday, but a great day for the craft room! Too Early for Christmas cards?

IMG_0326 (Medium)IMG_0308 (Medium)Is it too early for christmas cards? I was over at my sisters craft room a few weeks ago playing with all her new stampin Up products, and I made this card with some scrap cardstock and a couple of dies from the stampin up die sets – Birds and blooms, and Flourish, It wasn’t until I had made it that I thought it might be ok for christmas , I see though that the bling has moved around a bit so will fix that before I add it to the christmas box! And today a photo of a sleepy Luna, she was hanging around when we were taking the card photos!Til tomorrow….
