Go Press and Foil class cards..

_MG_1760 (Medium)_MG_1773 (Medium)I haven’t done many mens cards this year, because there has been a lack of mens card related products, but I did teach a class with the Couture Creations Go Press and Foil machine and some new hot press stamps which actually foil, emboss and die cut all in one step. The background paper is by Stamperia, and the Birthday sentiment is a Uniquely Creative stamp. You can see how the special hot press stamps emboss , foil and die cut perfectly in these cards, the top card I used the “waste” foil as another element on the card and for the bottom card I left the “waste ” foil still on the car as it added a different shade of chocolate foil to the car. I hope all my American followers down south are keeping safe, Til tomorrow…..

Another Mens card

img_3294-mediumI made this card for an order..I die cut an oval and using the waste part I inked through it onto the base card with green and blue inks. I stamped a stampin up cricket set onto various scraps of cardstock and fussy cut the images, and stuck them onto the base card . I kept it all very simple as that is what my customer wanted, and I really like this one!Back to work this week after my holidays, and taking things very easy with my shoulder! til tomorrow….

New mens card!

img_3292-medium I have a couple of Mens cards to show, so today we will start off with the side stepper card I made with some new dies from a new company, Paper rose. They are a South Australian company, and I couldn’t wait to try out the tool dies and the pegboard die. They cut beautifully, and I will be adding some more of their dies to my growing collection! The instruction for my side stepper card is on my You tube channel, you can find the link on the right hand side of my blog. The sentiment is a kaisercraft die, and the rest is just strips of cardstock to mimic the tool drawers. Echo Park springtime take 3

This is the next group of cards made using my 4 sheets of Echo Park springtime collection. I also used stampin up cardstock, Kaisercraft bling and a stamp it stamp (just for you), and the candles were stamped with a stamp from a stampin Up set and cut out. The thing I loved about these papers was they didn’t need a lot of products and although the papers had a lot of different colours and patterns they still went together perfectly. Today I was over at Paper flourish setting up my May lesson, and really splurged on a lot of new paper collections. I got the new kaisercratf ranges, new Prima (2 differnt collections) and the new Bo bunny collection . All gorgeous – so much new paper, so little time! You all know what I will be doing tonight! Til tomorrow….
