Go Press and Foil class cards..

_MG_1760 (Medium)_MG_1773 (Medium)I haven’t done many mens cards this year, because there has been a lack of mens card related products, but I did teach a class with the Couture Creations Go Press and Foil machine and some new hot press stamps which actually foil, emboss and die cut all in one step. The background paper is by Stamperia, and the Birthday sentiment is a Uniquely Creative stamp. You can see how the special hot press stamps emboss , foil and die cut perfectly in these cards, the top card I used the “waste” foil as another element on the card and for the bottom card I left the “waste ” foil still on the car as it added a different shade of chocolate foil to the car. I hope all my American followers down south are keeping safe, Til tomorrow…..

New mens card!

img_3292-medium I have a couple of Mens cards to show, so today we will start off with the side stepper card I made with some new dies from a new company, Paper rose. They are a South Australian company, and I couldn’t wait to try out the tool dies and the pegboard die. They cut beautifully, and I will be adding some more of their dies to my growing collection! The instruction for my side stepper card is on my You tube channel, you can find the link on the right hand side of my blog. The sentiment is a kaisercraft die, and the rest is just strips of cardstock to mimic the tool drawers. Til tomorrow….

mens cards made easy….

IMG_8706 (Medium)While on my cleaning up journey I stumbled upon a great amount of Kaisercraft Sears and Son papers, and packets of collectables, so of course had to sit and make a few mens cards – so easy with this paper. So easy in fact that there are a huge amount of photos of cards made with this paper collection to show , so I will break into groups over the next few weeks!this paper is still available, and perfect to stock up on for those tricky male cards1All I have used are the aforementioned papers and collectables, and a couple of odd brads I had lying around for these two cards. It is a super early post today, as I am teaching this afternoon ( third class this week!) and when I get home I want to head straight into the craft room as I have a few ideas buzzing around that i want to get down on cardstock! Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 .. a proper gentleman..

Before we start, I would just say that I have used this paper before, but I had the opportunity to purchase more, and grabbed it – it is so difficult to get paper suitable for male cards, and I have always loved these car images. I bought 2 sheets so that I could 3d the images, although it doesn’t show in the photo, I fussy cut the car image on the second sheet and omittedĀ  parts of it, and put it on top of the first image with foam pads. The paper is of course Graphic 45 a proper gentleman, and I distressed all my edges. The cuttlebug folder is called clockworks, and I used stampin up cardstock and bakers twine. Now I must be off as I still have to shop tonight. Til tomorrow…..

A couple more fishy cards today using Kaisercraft Hunter gathererĀ  collection. These papers are all in the 6″ pad, the fish are fussy cut from a 12 x 12 sheet. I have put this range back on my craft table, and I’m going to create some cards that are not fish related with it. There’s lots of scope for nature inspired cards with this collection. I have also been getting my market boxes ready, as I will be back this month on the 21st of August.Fathers day will be just after that, so I’m stocking up on them, so this is why you are all seeing so many mens cards this week!Til tomorrow….
