Prima Anna Marie 8

IMG_3729 (Medium)Here is another box and matching card using Prima Anna Marie paper and some prima flowers. The die cuts were made with spellbinders Enchanted Labels 28, and I just added a ribbon bow, and chipboard piece ( also from prima).Once I had die cut the large rectangle I stuck it onto a piece of patterned paper and fussy cut around it to get the different colour underneath. The flourish is by magnolia. I taught a lovely class of ladies this morning, then headed to the shops to replenish my cupboards, as I haven’t had time to shop since we got home from holidays. As usual my break has gone far too quickly and it’s back to work tomorow!Til tomorrow….

IMG_3725 (Medium)I am back from my holiday, and it was a lovely break, nice and relaxing, and still in holiday mode, so nothing much has been done here today! Todays card is a card ( on the left) and box on the right. For the card I stamped a Prima bloom stamp and heat embossed it in black embossing powder, then sponged 3 different colours of ink down the card. Added some flowers ( prima) and ribbon and bling to finish. For the lid I used a stamp from Stampin up everything Eleanor stamp set, heat embossed and ink as for the card, and added more flowers – this time Manor House, and ribbon and rhinestones as the finishing touch.Til tomorrow…..

Decorated birdcage..something different.

IMG_7881 (Medium)IMG_7882 (Medium)IMG_7883 (Medium)Something different for a complete change! I thought I would show you a decorative birdcage that I made.I picked up the birdcage for a few dollars , and the bird inside for another few dollars. the rest of the decorations were odd bits and pieces I had in my craft room. I used some cipboard Twiddlybitz for the scrolls and leaves, and the flowers¬† and resin bird are prima products. No project is complete without ribbon, and this lovely wide satin ribbon finished it off nicely! I took it over to show my Dad ,who is quite creative in his own right -(he paints mainly) and he kept it until I made him one of his own in tones of blue and yellow.I loved making this and have bought another birdcage to do another one!Maybe this time in pinks and purples.Today has been a day of completing projects, and now thats done I am ready to start again with a clean slate. til tomorrow…..

Kaisercraft Velvet crush number 11

IMG_2074 (Medium)I found another Kaisercraft velvet Crush card that I hadn’t posted! The card ( on the left) makes use of the matching collectables in the range, and some kaisercraft and prima flowers and ribbon. ( the cardstock is stampin up pink pirouette and black) and when I had finished it I realised it wouldn’t fit into an envelope as the flowers were too bulky, so I made a box and decorated it to match. I like making these card boxes, so you may be seeing some more of them… may have to do a youtube video of how to make….I had a great morning over at Paper Flourish this morning, met up with some friends, had an enjoyable card club, and bought some new papers from Prima, Tim Holtz, and heartfelt creations and can’t wait to start making with them. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Velvet Crush number 3

I taught a lovely group of ladies today, and now I am ready to put my feet up for a rest before work tomorrow… til tomorrow…

IMG_5369 (Medium)IMG_5374 (Medium)This is a card that I made for a friends wedding.I used two 6′ white cards, cut the fronts on the diagonal and stuck the backs together. I embossed the front triangles with a Hearts embossing folder, and punched the edges with¬† Marhta stewarts lace doily punch. I added some prima flowers, a flourish die cut and some white and silver ribbon. Then the card that i slipped into the pocket created by the shaped front – a seperate piece of white cardstock stampoed and silver embossed with a stampin up stamp, two die cut heart run through the cuttlebug in two different folders, and a little tag and flower and ribbon.I have shown a close up of the insert detail. The computer has decided to type in blue all underlined today, hopefully when I publish this it all looks normal!Til tomorrow..
