_MG_9847 (Medium)_MG_9848 (Medium)Hello There! continuing on with my Kaisercraft Letters to Santa series, the top card uses the 6″ pad, collectables and ribbon, as well as some kindyglitz for shimmer, and some red Nuvo drops for my berries. The lower card is a gatefold design, with papers from the 6″ pad and images from the 12 x 12 pull apart sheet, and a couple of the collectables as well. I like doing gatefold cards for Christmas cards because it’s quick and easy to decorate the inside panel rather than having to stop and prepare an insert ! Quick post this afternoon, I will sign off now and go and prepare some dinner, til tomorrow….

Go Press and Foil Card

_MG_1970 (Medium) I have another couple of Go Press and Foil cards to show, so this one today.. I used a kaisercraft embossing folder for the frame ( I have since mastered foiling with my embossing folders so that will be coming soon!) and foiled a todo sentiment stamp made especially for the foiling machine, trimmed it to fit into the frame, and added Green tara flowers, and a foiled chipboard butterfly. the greenery were die cuts on my desk, I have got into the habit when I am diecutting greenery and flourishes to cut a few extra so that I don’t have to stop and dig out dies when I am on a making streak. I have started on my Christmas cards at last, with some lovely new Kaisercraft christmas paper called Christmas Jewel. It has amazing shades of purple and lilac, and silver and I wasn’t going to purchase, but these cards are making themselves, easy paper to work with! til tomorrow….

_MG_9105 (Medium)_MG_9106 (Medium)Here are the other two cards I made for my group Christmas in July challenge..I hadn’t been out to the Craft room annex ( shed) for my Christmas stash so really used what was to hand in the craft room, and I had been making lessons with some Kaisercraft dies, and I always have a bit of glitter paper in the craft room.¬† The stitched oval is a Paper Rose die, and I die cut the bauble on the top card and foiled it through the Go Press and Foil machine as I was experimenting with that new toy at the time. The rest was just assorted bling on my desk. Its a lazy kind of afternoon this afternoon after a busy morning at work, and I am going to have a bit of a sit down with a good book today! Til tomorrow….

img_8030-mediumNo die cutting or stamping on this card – just all paper!I used a bit of everything in the collection – some papers from the 6″ pad, collectables, and one of the card front rectangles from a 12 x 12 paper.Did some fussy cutting, and added some bling. Got to love this paper! Til tomorrow….

Fathers day card ideas

As it’s fathers day here in Australia this Sunday, I thought I would post the rest of the Fathers day cards I have in my files this week. Most of these cards card be adapted for Male birthday cards as well. These two cards are very simple, and ideal for the gardening Dad. The papers are Websters Pages Farmers Market, and I used some Stampin Up cardstock which fits perfectly with the colours on the papers.I have had a very productive day in the craft room today, coming up with a lot of new designs for Christmas. I will get nathan busy with the camera this coming weekend, and hopefully able to post them next week. Some of them will probably make it into my classes next month.Still got some ideas buzzing around in my head, so it’s back to the craft room for me – til tomorrow…

Baby Girl cards

I made these Baby Girl cards a little while ago, but forgot to post them – The one on the left is a box style card, and both cards use a scrap of Bo Bunny paper I had left over from a collection I once bought. The Bear is a Hot off the press stamp which I stamped a couple of times onto pink patterned paper and then cut out and paper pieced¬† to achieve a 3d effect. I mounted it on a Spellbinders picot edge cirlce die in white. The rest of the card was easy – just some flowers, ribbons and buttons to complete the look! Til tomorrow….
